i wanted to write this down some where before i forgot...... and i happen to be next to the computer....... last night we had some ice cream and cole and laci always get excited and start signing ice cream and then come take bites from my or jasons ice cream. well about 2 hours later after we were done and playing something else, laci followed me in to the kitchen and wanted to be picked up. when i picked her up she look around and then at me and signed ice cream and then signed more. i asked her if she wanted more ice cream, to which she nodded yes, then i said well we are all finished (and i signed finished) ----to which she shook her head no and signed more. --i laughed and eventually cole and laci got a scoop "more"of ice cream. how sweet -- a whole 1 yr old conversation!!!!

ok one more cute story.... after breakfast laci signed hat, i gave her her hat helped her put it on and got her down. she saw her baby that grammy gave her for christmas, and looked at me, i told her pick up your baby... she shook her head no...i asked her does your baby need a nanap? she nodded yes ...i said well go help her and put her down for nanaps. she picked up the baby and took the baby to her own ( laci's ) crib. and stood there while jason followed her in and she pointed to the baby and then to the bed and waited for him to put her baby in the bed AND cover her up. then she could walk out of the room. how cute. that is actually the second time this week she has put her baby down in her bed for nanap. hahaha.. love it. ;-)

laci and dad valentines day (early dinner). we went to lone star. we had so much fun -- well I had fun watching laci throw her food all over dad. ;-)

I talked to another mother of twins -- when cole and laci were 2months old-- her twins were 4 at the time. she told me that she still kinda remembers walking out of the house with baby carriers and then just carrying the boys --then one day her boys just walked out by themselves. --i remember thinking -- that will never happen -- my babies are soooooo little. hahaha-- here they are just one day walking out to get in the car. kinda weird -- i guess all days you never think are going to come -- come way to fast.

laci is staring to have her very own opinion on what she wants to wear-- she found this christmas dress grammy had given janalee-- and janalee had given us-- (size 3T ) --and her little orange jacket -- she wanted to wear all of it over her cloths. how cute --if you look close on this day she was telling me she wanted to eat. even cuter. ;-)

we went to the zoo and after played at the open field/park in the middle of the zoo. cole had soooooo much fun!!!!

we also feed the fish and ducks at the ampatheater in the park both of them were trying so hard to give the ducks and fish each little piece of food. --we showed them how to throw the food -- they ended up kinda dropping it instead. it was soooo funny.

we went on a ride ( well we walked along montano bike path and the kids rode) they loved it!!! we are at the bird look out along the way.

on fridays ( sometimes thursdays) we go to sams smiths and walmart. here we are at smiths, they have these neat double carts cole and laci love.

WOW!!! the first year with the twins flew by soooooo fast!! -- they are already 14 months-- sooo may things have happened. New baby on the way ( girl ) we are so excited, New SUV ( yukon denali- jason likes to always point that out) ;-) the kid are --well kids now-- they can sign to me-- eat, more, drink, water, milk, juice, cracker, cookie, lion, monkey, pig, cow, horse, baby, frog, hat, dad, mom, book, brush teeth, shoe, bunny, cat, dog, mouse, ball, bike, car, bath, ice cream, music, fish, --and they made their own sign for lets watch backyardigans ;-) . --- and they understand, change diaper, bed time, jammies, go get toys, stop, be nice, give loves, give kisses, and much more!!! jason is really impressed with them because they can commuincate with him and read books to him, and ask him for things--- how cute!! i love it because it cuts the random frustrated screaming down, and we have happy peaceful days ;-) ( most of the time.) i am working on having them sign -- cloths, socks, all the things they understand but hav not signed back yet. -- ( all these months of signing have started to really really pay off. ;-)
